     Required: Nullsoft's free
Winamp 5.05 (or higher) player for Windows. Under "preferences", "file types" and "audio", make sure "aac" and "pls" are "blue or dark" or selected.
Make sure Windows Media Player is not set to play as a toolbar inside your Internet Explorer browser. That can create a problem.

If you have installed any "MP3PRO" Winamp 5 plug-in sometime in the past, you need to remove it before you will be able to hear aacPLUS streams. Open "My Computer", open your "C" drive, open the "Program Files" folder. Select "Show Files" if you don't see any files listed. Open the "Winamp" folder, then open the "Plugins" folder. Delete "in_mp3PRO.dll". Uninstalling does not delete the plug-in.
     The free
Foobar2000 advanced audio player also works great on Windows platforms. On installation, associate "playlist" and "MPEG-4" files.
     The free
VLC Media Player v.0.8.1 (and up) supports our AAC+ stream for Mac OS X,  Windows, various flavors of Linux, BeOS, Zaurus and other systems. The source code is even available for VLC.

VLC for Mac OS X is distributed as a disk image. Download the Mac OS X package from the VLC MacOS X download page. Once the file has been downloaded, double-click on the icon. Drag the VLC application from the resulting window to the place from where you want it to run. A suggested location would be "Applications". Open the "File" menu and select the "Open Network Stream" menu item. Select "HTTP/FTP/MMS", and paste the complete URL, (http://www.bornagainradio.com/stream/bar24aac.pls) in the corresponding text field. You can then start playback by selecting the Ok button.
Currently, iTunes plays plain AAC, but our AAC+ stream doesn't work with it.
